Look for tips to tend not just to grow.

Tips good a month ago can become absolute. Algorithms change, so does policy and terms of service. For improving, try to learn and apply advice that you, the creator, have the most control in. You process of creating content.
Your content is a garden, only chasing for the quickest way to grow is a fruitless chase. First take time to learn to tend to your content. Then make sure to nurture its growth and improve your creation formula.

Being a casual is not a hinderance to streaming...

Twitch is a source of entertainment.
There are as many people who love the high octane plays as much who love the anecdotal moments during a stream. Not every streamer is a top player nor needs to be.

Not knowing who your audience is could be hindering.

Because of the broad audience on Twitch make sure you are appealing to the right one. Keep in mind their viewer experience.
It's easy to conflate your appreciation of other's content as goals for yourself. Remember to separate what you want to see as a viewer and who you are as a streamer.
It may not be the same person. And that's ok.

Bring your Twitch to where they are.

Use your streaming experience and highlight on social media. Integrate into your profiles in a way that its not just another notification or highlight reel.
Your goal is for your future audience wanting to join the party next time.

It's not always about the numbers until it is.

Learning to interpret your streaming and social media analytics is a skill needed to steer and shape future content. Take time to find their real meaning to you.
Numbers are a different perspective on your content so use them.

VODs are made to experiment.

Your Twitch is a part of you, your experience and your work. Experiment with VODs, look at what made your stream great, what you liked. Take time to review, remix and reflect. A good rule of thumb is to try to make sure that your Twitch content doesn't start or end on Twitch.
Your Twitch VODs don't have to be used just as a video, so explore!

It's harder than it looks.

Its harder than you imagine. So many roles are seen as one ( seemingly ) co-existing experience. You really don't have to be the pro at every element of streaming.
Take your pain points as spots to grow, adjust or if you can, delegate.

Learn from doing.

Yes, I know I am talking from viewing but it has a limit. Endless stories means for endless journeys. You need to find YOUR path to growth, vibe, routine and community.
To learn as you go you need to actually start.
